not much to blog about but i have been working on aniyomi again for hours on end without making any progress… been listening to “flamewall” by camellia on repeat cause it got qualified on osu! today lol i hope you are having a fine swell day, and if not, i hope your next day will be even finer and sweller!
so almost a month ago i wrote about my experience with creating a fork of tachiyomi for anime. i made a lot of progress and the app is fully functional now. but with a lot of bugs and unimplemented features it has been an awesome learning experience, even though a lot of the work required was just copying classes and changing some strings in them (to replicate tachiyomi’s functionality for a different kind of medium), which was extremely tedious and annoying....
so a few days ago i had the brilliant idea of making a fork of tachiyomi (a superb app for reading manga and comics etc.) and add anime/video watching capability to it. so i started by copying and rewriting a buch of classes for the new anime functionality (this is also my first time using kotlin so that’s cool) after many many hours i finally got it to compile and not crash instantly when opening the app!...
i’m writing this at 5:44 am, i’ve been awake this whole time coding stuff for this website but now i just felt like writing this blog post. there’s no point cause no one knows about this or reads this, but whatever. i listened to reol, imperial circus dead decadence, cö shu nie and some other stuff spotify autoplayed, was fun. tomorrow is friday though so i still have to sleep now....
is this a blog now? anyway, right now i have nothing better to do, so i’m sharing this with you: a banger about love and maths? i should probably go to bed now, bye
